Point at any control below and this page explains it. The two switches actually work: tick them and watch which preflight checks stop being performed. It is the same material as the written reference, arranged so you can find things by where they sit rather than by what they are called.

Where each setting acts

Selecting a control above lights up the stage of the boot flow it governs.

Boot flow: an optional custom startup level, then the loading level, which runs discovery, preparation and a pipeline-cache tail before opening the destination level. Custom startup optional, and only with the switch on Loading level boots first, holds the loader Discover folders + seed, fingerprint check Prepare batched loads, PSOs, textures Cache tail drains the engine PSO backlog Destination opens when the warmup finishes not protected the loading screen is on screen for all of this progress 0.00 → 0.95 across Discover and Prepare, then 0.95 → 1.00 across the cache tail
